Not sure what to say?

Smurf and I were friends at Longwood and when college stories were remembered it always seemed smurf's name would pop up.my deepest sympathy goes out to all of mark's family and friends.

I have read over what people wrote about Mark, and I have the same experiences. I met him when I was about 13 years old back in Neptune and learned right away that his wit was nothing to mess with - you could never win. As a friend of his little brother, I was often the target of his pranks, but it was so obviously done in the spirit of fun and Mark enjoyed himself so much, it was hard not to laugh, even when he was making a fool out of you.
I was shocked and upset when I heard that he...

A part of me left this Earth with Mark. We shared a room together for 17 years in New Jersey. I followed him to Longwood College to play soccer. My brother was my best friend. He always got the best out of people. He may have been small but he stood 10 feet tall. Tyler and Elizabeth will miss their Uncle Mark. Mark always had time to play with the children. I will miss his smiling face and even his big mouth (ha, ha). I loved my brother very much. Mark I will miss you always!! I love you!!...

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the McArdles at this time. To lose someone so young and vital is especially tragic. God bless all of you.

I was so upset to hear about "smurf" having left us. Over the years I have kept up with him through Rich Posipanko. He will always be remembered by me from the very competative games we had against Longwood. At the end of the game I always considered smurf a friend and I will miss him. My condolances to all who knew and loved him.

My heart and sympathy go out to the entire McArdle family. It seems like yesterday I first met Mark when recruiting him at Longwood University. When he walked into my office for the first time I thought there was no way this kid can be a player. Way too small. However, there was something special about him. He was so full of life and one of the most confident people I have ever been around. He knew how to win and certainly showed others how to get it done as well. He also got more out of his...

I will miss you Uncle Mark.
I love you.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss. I knew Mark at Longwood College and remember him as an energetic and fun-loving sports jock. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

My sincerest condolences go out to the family. Mark "smurf" was an extraordinary person. He had a zest for life matched by few. His outgoing demeanor and jovial outlook on life made people want to be around him. He was the type of person that would certainly leave a lasting impression on you. He will surely be missed by many. Heaven will be alot more fun with Smurf there. I can already picture him pulling pranks on the angels and having worked his way to being God's right hand man. I will...
