Not sure what to say?

Laura - Nonie and I were both deeply saddened and very shocked to hear of Mark's death. It is an incredible loss for you, your family and all who knew and loved this wonderful man. Mark had a special place in my heart after serving as one of my JOs during my Engineer tour; he was an unbelievably talented, totally dedicated and overall fantastic officer who made my job easy and the ship successful. I thoroughly enjoyed our time together in Scouts with our sons; we had great fun and many...

Laura - Even under the most challenging of circumstances, Mark was one of the good guys. It was an honor to have know him (8th company USNA). My prayers and deepest sympathy for what must feel like an intolerable loss.

Laura

May God bless you and your family. The news of Mark’s passing was a shock. I very much enjoyed working with Mark at Northrop Grumman. Mark was an enthusiastic fellow employee, great Engineer and a good friend. He will be missed.

As a young ensign, Mark took me under his wing and taught me the ropes. He was one of the really good guys. Mark and Laura and Susan and I had some great Navy adventures. Mark had a wonderful knack for making everything better...

Laura,
It has been many years since we were young Navy wives while following the USS Simon Bolivar. I remember when we lived in New Hampshire and took a scenic drive to see the man of the mountain. I know Mark was a dedicated & loving family man and a patriot who served our country. Laura, Mark will live on in your children forever. May the Lord bring you comfort in this saddest of times.

My first memories of Mark revolve around his great sense of humor at his and Laura's wedding. He never met a stranger, and he was unflappable. My thoughts and prayers are with Laura, Andrew and Kathleen.

Dear Laura and your family,
I just heard about Mark this morning from Kami Lannetti. Words can't express the shock of hearing this news and the sorrow I feel for you, Andrew and Kathleen, especially. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers in this heartbreaking time.

I am so sorry to hear of your lost. I wish to extend my deepest sympathies and condolences. I cannot begin to imagine the pain and grief that you must be feeling at this time, however I hope that the words at John 5: 28, 29 will somewhat ease that pain by providing a hope set before us all of seeing our lost loved ones again real soon. I pray that God continue to be with you and guide you during this time.

To Marks Family,
It is with a heavy heart that I learned of Mark's passing. He roomed just down the hall from me at USNA, 8th company. I will always remember him as an intellegent, thoughtful, class act. Mark and his family are in my prayers. R. Wayne Vessels
