Not sure what to say?

I knew Mark at UMKC (conservatory) in guitar pedagogy under Doug Niedt and also in music theory with Dr. Shirley Bean. I was in a guitar trio with Mark and one other for two semesters. We played something by Mauro Giuliani for three guitars. Mark went on to greatness.

I only met Mark once, at a reunion of sorts at June & Jim McCoy´s house in Oregon, Il. However, this unbelievably talented and intelligent young man was so kind and warm to me ... just his cousin´s girlfriend at the time. My sincerely condolences. He and Jeff are enjoying the best music together now.Maureen...

Sorry for your great loss. With heartfelt sympathy to the family. May fond memories of your loved one comfort you at this time. Please consider Psalm 145:18,19. May those words bring you some consolation and a small measure of peace.

I am indeed saddened by the death of Mark our mastro and friend. I cried when I heard the news. My sympathy to all. Norman Duncan

To the McCoy Family, you have my deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. May God give you the needed strength to endure, during this very trying time.
