Played little league and high school ball with Mark. Left handed, strong arm , good bat, good ball player. Beat me for third base position. I got second base. Fond memories.

Hard to believe your gone cousin, I remmber watching you play baseball at Redding CA, park as a little kid and all you could eat crab at your and Vicki wedding, so long ago, yet seem like yesterday. Love & my deepest Condolences to your love ones.

It was nice reading Mark's obituary. He was definitely an amazing person for doing the things he did throughout his life. I´m sure he will greatly be missed by his family and all who knew him. Sending our love to you all Tommy, Susan, Karen, and the boys.

Uncle Mark, you will be greatly missed Love your niece sheila Renee Smith-and family we always loved coming to your house for family get-togethers even though you will not be there. We will try to keep up the family gathers. you and aunt Vicki will always feel like your present in your home.

Dear Chanel, Devin and Heather...Our prayers are with you all during this time of mourning in the loss of your father. Though I never met Mark, as a young adult I do remember his sports articles in the Sacramento Bee. He was very good at his profession and I always looked forward to his next article.
