I met Mark while I was a student at Elon. We both were active in the volunteer program, we attended Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, and we were on the New Student Orientation team together. He always knew how to make you laugh and he always cared for his community. When you spent time with Mark, he always made you feel that you mattered and he always had a smile. He´s going to be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Dalerie and their kids as well as his parents and sister.

To Mark´s family... I wish you peace. Mark was a good friend to my first husband and I. My husband was a paramedic in Scarborough for many years and we graduated 5 years prior to him. I´m so sorry for your loss
