We used to play with our band at Pier 70 and Golden Tides. Mark always treated us well. We met Mark and Dave in Hawaii and they were determined to have us in Seattle. I'm so glad he had us play at his establishments. Seattle became our second home because of Mark and Dave and a lot of the members of Burgundy Express (some from Seattle and the other half from Sacramento) ended up staying in Seattle. I was not one of them. RIP my friend love you!

My condolences on Mark's passing a couple years ago. It seems he was an outstanding individual from what I've read here.

Now I am reaching out in particular because I am a Seattle historian and I am currently working on a piece about the building Jilly's East used to be in and I understand that Mark and his brother David were the owners.
