The profession of optometry has lost a great leader and advocate. The world has lost a great human being.

Dr. Morris was the first boss I ever had. I was a shy, awkward teenager who was initially uncomfortable dealing with his patients. Because of his patience and kindness I overcame that shyness and learned to handle myself better at work, school and beyond. I'm sorry he is gone and that I never told him that.
Mrs. Morris, I am sorry for your loss.

Sometimes people make an impression out of proportion to the contact you have with them. Mark and I went to grammar school and high school together and since that time I think I have seen him twice at high school reunions. Yet I feel a sense of loss for one of the nicest guys I have ever known. My deep condolences to Sue and the family.

We will miss Mickey. Our hearts go out to you all.

Mark's spirit is continued in the children he raised so well. I am proud to know Steve, who encourages everyone to be thier best just by being who he is. I can only wish the whole family my best wishes during this time of loss.
