Mark Lee Moton HODGES -- Mark Lee Moton, 44, of 105 Whisperwood Court, died Friday, July 31, 2015. Born in Austin, TX, he was a son of Sylvia Hawkins Peurifoy and the late James Charles Moton, Sr. He was a graduate of Piedmont Technical College, was a member of Matthews Masonic Lodge 358, and a member of Greenwood Shores Baptist Church. Mark was a loving father and grandfather. Surviving in addition to his mother of Cleveland, NC, his daughter, Amber Leighanne Horton of Greenwood; four sisters, Freida M. McWhorter (Steve) of Ware Shoals, Terry Baty (Curt) of Chuckey, TN, Cassie Moton of Hodges, and Lori M. Byrd (Gus) of Hodges; a brother, James C. Moton, Jr. of TN; a grandchild, Alivia Horton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a step father, Earl Peurifoy. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held at Oakbrook Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Neil Bagwell, Josh McWhorter, Mathew Byrd, Jonathan Moton, Will Byrd, Darryl Robinson, and Al Armstrong. Honorary escort will be Mark's friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11 a.m. on Wednesday at Harley Funeral Home.
