Not sure what to say?

Lisa, I've just learned of Mark's passing and am so sorry for your loss.

When I met Mark at the master's meet in Eugene, I was so taken with his joie de vivre; the happiness he exuded as he threw the disc, watched his competitors throw and just celebrated being in the ring and around fellow throwers.

When I visited you guys in Seattle, I had a blast, loved being "swarmed" by your puppies and still have wonderful memories from that and our big journey months later to the...

When I was a college student, I met Mark at Gold's Gym in Kirkland, Washington. He got me involved in powerlifting and took me to my first meet in Oregon. He was one of the most positive influences in my life during college. I lost touch with him, and I am deeply saddened by his death. I wish I had got to tell him that all that anger and rage I had as a troubled youth, he helped me channel into a positive outlet in powerlifitng, and this truly helped me to succeed in life: I went on to...

Lisa, I really loved throwing with Mark at the Nike World Masters games a few years back, having breakfast with you and Mark and meeting your adorable little dogs. I know how passionate he was about working, training and competing in the throws. I always will remember throwing with mark in West Seattle at the Masters meets in the summer and fall. I know that I will see him again in heaven. Dawn and my heart and prayers are coming your way. Gary Zasimovich

Shocked to here of Mark's passing. We were good friends in high school and had fun on the track team. Last saw Mark at our 35th high school reunion. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time. I hope time will replace your pain with peace in your heart and wonderful memories of a great man.

I hope you're resting easy sweet man. Still missing you everyday but know you're watching over. See you in paradise.

Mark was not only my trainer and coach but also a great friend of mine. After years of working out together we became very close. We would talk about everything and joke around a ton. Mark was a huge part of my success in track and where I am in life now. I owe him a lot and will miss him dearly. Love you Mark

I will miss Mark a lot! But I know I will see him again in the end. He was a good man and lead a very honorable life.
