Not sure what to say?

Thank you everyone who came to remember Mark today!! Such sweet memories! So glad Cody got to meet his Dad's 'good ole boys' childhood friends and the Sammons crew! I can't tell you how much this means to him to finally put faces to stories! It helps him fill in some blanks. Thank YOU! If anyone wants to stay in touch, please let me know at [email protected]

Cody,
I wish I had the words to ease the pain and fill the emptiness you may be feeling. What I would like you to know is; Your Dad considered you to be his biggest accomplishment in life and he was always proud to call you his son. He loved you dearly and always will.
May you always find comfort in the fond memories you have of your Dad. He was a good man.
Fondly,
Bev Mehalick

My deepest sympathies to Marks family. Growing up the Nelson's were like a second family to me, words cannot describe the friendship we shared. Rest in peace

So many nice messages from everyone! I was with Mark from1979-1995, and although we divorced in 1999, we reconciled 2 years ago, for which I am so thankful! Our son is definitely a chip off the old block where it comes to that sense of humor! Please attend the service on June 21st to "tell stories" if you'd like!

Sorry for your loss, my deepest sympathies to Mark's family. I was a neighbor of Mark's on Kelton Rd, we did a lot of running around together along with Chris & Mark Rap, Craig, Dave R and Dave H. Many great fishing adventures along the Yellow Breeches, you will be missed my old friend.

Our hearts are very heavy to hear the news of Mark's passing. We have a lot of great memories and good times shared with Mark over the years. Dave has so many good stories and memories of them growing up together in Highland Park. Fun times they had
scouting, fishing, hunting, hiking, camping and canoeing. Just love hearing the stories. We know Mark is fishing in a beautiful stream, up in his heavenly home.

May God bless the entire Nelson Family now and in the days to come....

Sorry for your loss. I knew Mark since grade school, we wrestled together in Jr High , hung out in High school and he even trained me at Sammons. I credit Mark for introducing me to Fowlers Hollow and I now share that special place with my son.

To all those great hunting, fishing, camping and climbing memories. "It's always that way when a man goes west. We love him most who knew him best." You will be missed my friend.

To Mark and his family keeping all of you in our prayers. He is in a better place with no pain and suffering.
