Mark R. Nergaard

Mark was a very special man and if you got to know him, you were blessed. He was a true man of integrity. He accepted whatever life offered with humor and humility. He took a piece of my heart that will never be replaced by anyone or anything. I miss him so much. My deepest sympathy to Lynette and his friends.

Lynette, may God provide you with healing during this difficult time. My condolences and prayers are with you.

Mark and I were friends at Plattsburgh AFB, NY. It's funny how we became friends. I was very religious at the time and the movie "The Exorcist" was showing on base. Mark's room was across the hall from mine and he put 666, which is the sign of the devil, on his door. That scared me so I put a picture of Jesus on my door. Later Mark came up to me and apologized and said he was just messing around. That broke the ice and from that day on we became good buddies. He was one of my favorite...
