Not sure what to say?

Mark was a good friend. Always enjoyed his company. He loved to tell stories of his years on the river and I enjoyed listening to them just as much.

Was a close friend of Cody and just found out about Mark. He was a great man and Father. I always looked up to him and envied Cody for being so blessed with such a great Dad. Hadn't seen either of Cody's parents since his funeral. Found out about Marks passing by finding his memorial marker near Cody's.

Mark left a huge mark in everyone's life. We continued to remember his quirky habits and laughable antics. We also cherish the wisdom he shared with us. He was a wonderful friend and we miss him so much.

So sorry to hear of Mark’s passing. He was one of the best of our family - honest, hard working, and a lot braver than some of us. I admired him greatly and enjoyed our all-too-infrequent times together.

Mark was a very special friend. Loved talking with him over a game of cribbage about growing up on the river.Mark was a very generous, kind and caring person. Will always treasure my time I spent with him here and in Hawaii. Rest in peace old friend.

Dear Paula and Shannon, I was so sorry to hear about Mark. It is so difficult to say goodbye to those we love. Frequently, I must remind myself we are all just passing through. He will be so missed by many. I am thinking of you all, lots of love to you and your family. Kristi

I met Mark and Paula through a mutual friend. I can't be sure as to exactly what year it was but it was between 16 to 20 years ago. We shared many nights as a group 8 of us playing card, sharing meals and vacationing together. We have so many wonderful memories.
Mark was so good at sharing memories of his large family and the antics of him and brothers. We also heard stories of his many years working on the river. It was always entertaining and enjoyed.
