Mark was born on November 16, 1951 and passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017. Mark was a resident of Leavenworth, Kansas at the time of passing. Mark enlisted in the United States Army at age 17 and served 4 years with the 82nd Airborne. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2017, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made at Armed Forces Bank in Mark's name to promote bicycling for youth in cooperation with Santa Fe Trails Bicycle Shop.
I had the pleasure of working with Mark in 2009. He was always on point & very detailed. We had sime very good times on that project, while working incredibly long days. We called Mark 'The Bulldog' because he got in there and got it done, whatever the task.
Mark was one of the good guys.
May God surround the family with love and comfort during this difficult time.
