Read MoreI didn´t know Mark personally but know him from his writings in the Lansing State Journal. He was a great man with compassion for fellow citizens. His writings were always spot on interesting. Mr. Nixon will be missed but always appreciated for his contribution for the betterment of lives that he soulfully touched.

I´ll never forget Mark because of exactly what was shared in the memorial message: his kindness, wit, humor, warmth, and expertise were beyond measure. I had the honor of working with Mark as a PR consultant during his time at the BWL, and our work on the Chili Cook Off translated into a friendship.
