Not sure what to say?

Dear Gert and family,
Barbara and I were very sorry to hear of Mark's death. We hope that you will have solace in the fact that he touched so many people lives. As a camper and counselor at Camp Rose Twig for many years, "Uncle" Mark was known for his great looks, athletic ability, and kindness. He was looked up to by all the Rose Twiggers, and not only because he was so tall, but because of his charisma. We wish you peace.

I am so sorry to hear that Mark has died. My husband Larry and I had dinner with he and Gert and Howard and Helene Schwartz in Boca Raton 2 years ago, I think. I have wonderful memories of Mark from Camp Rose Twig. Really, the best of the good guys. He was my brother's counselor and the heart throb of every girl regardless of age.I am so sorry for your loss.

To Mark's Family:

It is easily 40 years since I last saw Mark but it could have been yesterday. I am a former Rose Twigger, a child at camp when Mark worked there as a counselor. A source of hero worship for me---how could you resist him? He was always so kind, so ready with a smile and a deep laugh. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

Dear Gert, Lindsay, Bud & Steve,
Our thoughts & prayers are with you. We are so glad that we were able to see you all at Rachel's wedding. May all your happy memories bring you comfort. Please keep in touch.
Love Always,
Marilyn & Dan Garlen

Dear Gert,Lindsay,Bud and Steve,
I am out of town and can not be there in person to express my thoughts. There is nothing that can make you feel better at this time but know that Mark loved all of you so much and appreciated all you did to take care of him these last few years. Memories last forever.
Love,
Farryl

Mark and I met at Camp Lindemere. He was well liked and a good athlete. Though we were not close friends, whenever I saw him, I always liked his thoughtful quiet laugh and his dignity. Mark was 'one of the good guys'.

Dear Gert, Lindsay,Bud, Steve and Judy,
Let us say we have never met a nicer man than your husband/dad/brother, Mark. Always friendly with a smile on his face; a joy to be around. We will miss him, his smile, and his kindness. He will be in our hearts forever. We hope you find solice in knowing he is no longer suffering. He was too good a man for that.
Love to all of you,
Mitchell and Adele

Gert and Family, We remember Mark when he was a vibrant man, always with a smile and kind word. You are in our thoughts and prayers. With heartfelt sympathy, The Kessel family
