Not sure what to say?

Brother Mark became fluent with five years of Spanish and chose to join the USAF as an interpreter in 1964. He had passed the physical and Asvab test and was about to leave for Lackland AFB TX when he received a call saying his bloodwork showed excessive amounts of albumen and that would stop his career in the USAF. After Matt had finished his tune on the bagpipes at the graveside service, a C-5 B Galaxy pulled out of Westover and at a low altitude, gave Mark the flyover he deserved. RIP Mark

Jean I just heard of Mark's passing. I send my thoughts and prayers out to you. He was a very good friend that introduced me to banking and the city Holyoke. I remember our cribbage nights at your house along with many other stories and adventures with Mark.

R.I.P.

Rest In Peace my old drinking buddy! I always remember your bright smile. You epitomize the old Holyoke Irish Catholic culture. My condolences to your family

Jean, many blessing to you and your family at this very sad loss. I haven't seen either you nor Mark in years, however when I found out Mark had passed, I wanted you to know how very much I appreciated his mentorship and friendship when we worked together at Woronoco Savings Bank! He took me under his wing, protected me and taught me so much during those years and I've always been eternally thankful for his friendship and spirit. May all your memories comfort you today and always, and...

Jean, I am so very sorry for your loss. May the closeness of family and friends comfort you at this difficult time. We met in the South Hadley Jaycees and had a lasting friendship. He was an encyclopedia of trivia and was fun to watch at a wedding or party when the DJ decided to do trivia. He will be missed but I'm sure when he got to the gates he said "did you hear the one about..." he's meeting old friends and making new ones. Prayers and warm hugs to you and your family and all his friends.
