Not sure what to say?

Mark, I wish you would have let us know about your health struggles. We lost touch with you over the years, after our move to Lindstrom. We, along with other friends from our Open Door Group, would have surrounded you with love and support, had we known. You are missed, my friend. See you when I come home . Mary (HunterPahl) Spetzman

When are Mark's ashes going to be placed at Fort Snelling? Anyone hear?

PEACE IS THE FAIREST FORM OF HAPPINESS. I KNEW MARK SINCE HE WAS 10 YEARS OLD AND I WILL MISS HIM ALOT.HE WAS A VERY SPECIAL PERSON IN MY LIFE.

I, too, knew Mark from Open Door and enjoyed knowing him! He was such a gentle guy and I especially liked his dry sense of humor. I believe that there is a special place in Heaven for Mark, sitting right there next to Jesus.
Godspeed Mark!

I also knew Mark from the Church of the Open Door. Sadly I lost track of him until we almost reconnected at his church.

He was quiet, blending in with the crowd. But for those who knew him he was a true salt-of-the-earth Christian with a generous, caring heart. He had an understated, subtle sense of humor.

I'm glad I knew him, and look forward to seeing him again.

Hummm...Carrie & I were at a loss in hearing of Mark and his illness.
I wish I had known earlier of his troubles, so I could share, bring some comfort, & pray with him.
He will be greatly missed, but we are comforted that he is resting in the arms of Jesus. As of all that has been shared in this Guest Book, I too agree that Mark IS a man of Kindness, Gentleness, and a good friend too all.
Our hearts go out to Mark's family
and our prayers of peace to them as well.

I knew Mark from the Open Door...he was very gentle spirited ...very genuine...real. I feel honored to have been a friend of his...my heart goes out to the family

I knew Mark from Church of the Open Door. We worked on several projects together. Mark was the gentlest and kindest man I have ever met. He had a servant's heart, always looking for ways to help someone else, or give that small word of encouragement at just the right time. I grieve for the loss of Mark from our presence but rejoice that he is with the Lord for all eternity. Mark made an impact on many peoples lives. He indeed was a very remarkable man.
