Not sure what to say?

I first met Mark when he moved to Knoxville from Tampa; we frequented the same Sports Bar/Restaurant where we played Buzztime trivia together. We must have played at least a couple of hundred times and I was only able to beat that sucker a few times. He was one of the smartest guy's I've ever known, and during the time he was here he became one of the best friends I have ever had. I met with Mark better known as Ox to the people in Knoxville that knew him early in the afternoon on Saturday...

We knew Mark all of his life as we are his Aunt and Uncle. He was a wonderful, smart child. Liked to play sports and seemed to excel in almost everything he tried. He will be missed by all his family and loved ones.

My deepest sympathy to Mark's family. Even though I lost touch with Mark after our ROLM days, I always remember our times together fondly. He was always upbeat, sharp and funny. He was a mentor but more importantly he was a friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mark and his family..Audrey, Ray and Tonya. I remember him in my fifth grade class at Apple Grove and enjoyed seeing him as an adult at the AGS reunion. He had become such a nice man!

My love to you all,

To
all who have signed this guest book, my sincere thanks. I am Tonya Kipple,
Mark's sister. Many of you have contacted my by phone in the past week and
many sent flowers or attended his funeral in Warsaw, VA or his memorial service
in Tampa. You blessed my heart tremendously and I thank you from the bottom
of my heart. It has been a very hard time for our family as my stepdad was
in a car accident the day after Mark's death and is now confined to a nursing
home. My...

My deepest sympathies to Mark's family. It's been a long time since I have seen Mark, but he left a very lasting impression.

Mark,

I thank God for these last two years for putting you in my life.
I have learned so much from you. You have enriched the facets of my life in so many ways.

I will always cherish the memories we shared together in the Great Smokey Mountains, Palm Island, and of course, where we met in Tampa.

I will never forget your motto:
God puts people in your life for a reason, a season, and sometimes for a life time.

Until we meet again in Heaven - you will always...

I am unable to put into words half of my life. I can only say Mark, you will always be loved and missed.

I only met Mark a few times at my dad's place, but I have warm memories; particularly of the time he drove down from Tampa with a large bit of tuna and my wife and I made sushi. We will both miss him. Yuka, my wife, called him one of her "Mr. Hemmingways".
