Not sure what to say?

Hi- I was/am very impressed with Mark's work, especially his large raven sculptures. I am actually trying to replicate one of his creations for my own home as I cannot find one to purchase. I would very much like to know how he created the raven's feet. Were these sculpted in clay and then molded in bronze? Any info here would be greatly appreciated. I am very sad for Mark's passing and my condolences to you and family! Yours truly - Mario

I would meet Mark occasionally at craft fairs and bought a few of his ravens to keep for myself or give as gifts (usually to people who saw mine and asked, "Where can I get one?" He always had a smile on his face and a kind word or two, and we'd occasionally speculate on our possible relationship. I've attached a stereo picture of one of his ravens (cross your eyes and superimpose the images for a stereo effect.) May his memory be a blessing to us all.

Mark, my old friend, I am missing you. I went to the Ann Arbor Art Fair this year to see you and sit and laugh and talk and share the years adventures. It was my yearly pilgrimage and I loved it. When I found you weren't there this year I feared for the worst. I just found out tonight and am crushed. What a good man we have lost. You were a huge inspiration to me to just go and do that thing you love. You were a great success at that! As a fellow art guy I always envied your studio, your...

For all those many years working the Ann Arbor Fair, Mark was In the booth next to me. Four or five years of four, 12 hour days, we laughed, commiserated, told stories; I met his family and enjoyed watching him with his wonderful children.
My heart goes out to all of you. He was way too young to have left us and the world is now a much sadder place.
Fly free guy, and know that always, I will see your star in the night sky. Carole Jayne

There is always a great void in our lives when we lose a loved one, and it will persist over time. Fill it with your memories, and live your lives as your Dad would have wanted you to, with joy and appreciation.
Sincerely,
Donna McManus

So sorry to hear about Mark's passing. Prayers for the family

May you cherish the precious memories of your loved one close to your heart, and remember that God will always be there for you to give you strength during this challenging time of grief and pain.
