Not sure what to say?

Mark/Grampy Parsons,
I knew him as Grampy. This man always, always treated every person he knew with a great amount of respect. His passing is a deep loss to the world.
I was formerly married to Mark's grandaughter, Elena. He welcomed me into the family with incredible grace and respect. One facet of Grampy's character was an element of style. He had a way with people.
This style and dignity is probably what made him such a great teacher and human being.

Mick was oour beloved Geat Uncle and it always was a highlight to see him whenever we traveled back to California. He was people-oriented, enthusiastic and a lifelong learner. we loved watching sports with him, and he was a formidable tennis player for many decades. He never once swore when missing a point. The worst curse we ever heard was "Oh, dirty word." Yet this was a marine who had faced harsh combat. He was one of a kind.

Mick had a very long and eventful life and we will...

Mick Parsons;
What a great gentleman he was. We are so blessed to share a bit of him every time we look at our grandson Joaquin Mendez (Mick's great grandson). Joaquin inherited Mick's witty and fun spirited ways.

Mick always saw the best in people. He was never unkind or upset with the many people he knew, or even strangers he met on the street.
We will always love him, miss him, and keep him in our thoughts.

Some day our reunion with him will be sweet...

Mick Parsons was a wonderful teacher and coach. Certainly an
inspiration to myself and many others
under his guidance.
