Not sure what to say?

Thoughts, prayers, and best wishes to Mark and his family.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I just learned of Mark's passing. I was a student of his at NEC. He was a kind person and caring person. May his memory be eternal!

I knew of Mark's passing a while ago, but I think of him often and wanted to share my feelings about his influence on the musical life of so many singers and colleagues at NEC. He was a gentleman through and through and lived for ' art " , in such a way that it permeated our environment and lives. To me , he is emblematic of an era when professional cordiality was an essential element of our business. I will always think Mark fondly and with great respect.

I have many fond memories from my time in Mr. Pearson's studio as a student at NEC in the mid-80's. He had a flair for life that was very infectious and much appreciated at that stage in my life. Rest well, sir.

Mark was easily one of the nicest human beings I have ever encountered. He saved my voice by teaching me to be a professional vocalist. He will always be with me and will continue to influence me to do this day. I still use the vocal techniques he instilled in me to this day. He was a great influence in my life and I wish he knew that. I was 18 when I met him. The world truly has lost a great, caring and loving human being.

Mark was a profound inspiration on my path to teaching voice - it was his belief in me that led to my graduate TA position in the voice dept at NEC. I learned so much from him about singing and teaching, but his noble way of living life is his greatest legacy.

Blessings to a wonderful man and a life well lived.
Mark was always very kind to me when I studied voice with him at NEC back in 1990.
I used to give him yellow roses for his birthday and have often thought of him through the years.
I know he missed a lot of his friends that he had lost and now he is reunited with them in Heaven.
Sing on dear man
with sympathies to his family.
