Not sure what to say?

Mark was an amazing man full of life and a love for God. He was my older cousin and most of my memories were growing up with Mark in Crescent City. Mark liked fast cars and I remember one time he took my brother and I for a ride in his hot rod. It was raining and he turns onto a deserted street, floors the gas and sends us rocketing down the road for a couple 100 yards and then slams on the brakes, skillfully pulling a 180 slide and then heading full speed the other way....smiling the entire...

I wanted to thank the family and friends of Mark that got together and poured their hearts out at his memorial. It’s a load off to participate in a send-off like that – I know his passing will create a void in a lot of lives, but for those of us that were there who knew Mark in passing with less presence and only a handful of significant memories, it’s good to know that April 7th was literally a man crossing the finish line with his hands in the air. Well run, Mark.

Mark was a precious man and good friend. He was very kind and generous to our family and will always hold a special place in our hearts. He is not in pain anymore and the Lord is holding him for us to see again. Love to Glenda, Alicia, and Brad, we are praying for you. Love, Bill, Mindy, Ben, and Lizzy Shaw

Hi: I m Charlene the volunteer at Evergreen Hemotology and Oncology,. I so enjoyed the visits with Mark on his Christian journey. People like Mark make my volunteering so enjoyable. Mark is now at peace with the Lord and enjoying his rewards. Prayers for his loved ones here on earth and "they" will receive the Lords Blessing.

Mark was a wonderful, friendly neighbor to all of us. He loved his wife and children so very much. We will miss seeing him at the mailbox and talking about the Lord. We'll miss seeing him embrace the outdoors and jogging in the sunshine. We will miss his happy, exuberant personality. We are thankful that he is with the Lord, free from pain and completely well. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Mark was a good friend, loving father and husband. I will miss Mark and the many fun times we had together. He was always kind to other people and an all around wonderful, compassoniate person. I feel relieved that Mark's pain is gone, and rejoice knowing he is with the Savior he loves. May the Lord bring comfort to Mark's family and friends.
