Not sure what to say?

I met Mark when we both were taking the bar review course in 1972. We had the same expectations for our future as corporate lawyers: get hired, work hard, do well, and retire from the firm that hired you. I did not take that path either. But what I want to write about is skiing. He and I went skiing together for many years. Mark was a pleasure to ski with. He was very good, and wry. A few memories: Mark skiing on his Rossignol Stratos at Meadows, knees and boots locked together, wedeling...

Judy and family, I am sorry for your loss. Mark was a good friend and mentor to me. I greatly enjoyed working with him during our time at Wilshire/Seterus. He will be missed. You and your family are in my thoughts.

Did you ever meet someone who showed you the possibilities of your ideal future self ? I have only met one such person. That´s the impact Mark had on me when I joined Wilshire as a young inexperienced attorney almost twenty years ago. His intelligence was intimidating. His wit was disarming. His humbleness was unusual. He was multi-faceted (arts, books, Michigan football, politics). He was so cool. I, and my legal friends who knew Mark - STILL - to this day, strive to emulate in...

I worked with Mark at Wilshire. I absolutely loved Mark. He was brilliant, kinda grouchy, always helpful, supportive and funny. He taught me so very much in the years during which I was privileged to know him. Sorry for all of our loss.

Judy and family, I just learned of Marks passing today from Phil Vincent. I worked very closely with Mark from about 1998- 2011 while at Wilshire , BofA and finally at IBM. We negotiated many contracts together for new business . I really loved working with Mark. He had a great sense of humor and always worked to try to get a deal over the finish line. He was very detailed oriented and just a great guy to be around. We went biking a few years ago and I kept thinking I needed to reach...

I just learned of Mark's passing. I was his fraternity brother at Michigan. My wife went to high school with him in Grand Rapids but they didn't know each other even though they were only one year apart. They discovered this many years later at a fraternity reunion. I enjoyed my days at Michigan with Mark and express my sincere condolences to his family.

I am so sorry to hear of Mark's passing. I grew up as a kid around Mark and always appreciated his kindness and smile. Plus, it was always inspiring to hear about how fit and active he was, biking and skiing.

Mark really pushed me a lot cycling so I could achieve remarkable distances and climbing I never dreamed I could do. I will miss him. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Sad to hear of his passing. Mark was wonderful guy and amazing biker. I only rode with him a couple times (including part of a charity ride around Lake Tahoe) as I had trouble keeping up with him, despite being 10 years younger. Condolences to Judy and family.
