I wanted to read this at his services, but couldn't bring myself to do it. I have saved it ever since and would like to share it now...
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Don McLeish and Chris and I met about 16 years ago while working for Delta Air Lines. We were roommates for awhile and have kept in touch over the years even though we have traveled to different states at different times.
While talking with Sonja a couple of days ago I mentioned that I have...

We can't believe that it has been 3 years already since Chris left us. Chris, you would be so very proud of Sonja today. She has picked herself up and used her strength to better her life, not just for her but also for Thomas. She is such a good mom and a darn good business woman. She works very hard for both of them. We know that they still miss you so very much just as the rest of us do. Remember the sweaters? Well just to show you how you are still thought of so much; I went out...

To My Chris, It has been a little over three years now and I still am in awe that this ever happened to you. I miss you so very much and Thomas speaks of you everyday. I know you are watching Thomas in amazement on how he is growing and the fact is he is a minnie you. He is so proud of the features he has of yours and oh boy oh boy does he have the fearless Sterry blood in him. For me I am trying to raise that boy the best I can. Our shop is doing so well. You would be proud of me. I am...

My Love,
A year ago today you were taken from me and it still feels like yesterday. To think I have survived this year seems only impossible, but yet I have. Living my life day to day without you has been the most heart-aching experience. I think about you every minute of each day. I still see your face right in front of me, if only I could reach out and touch it. I know you are with me today but you are too far away for me to hold. So when you see the tears fall down my face just...

Happy Anniversary My Love
Today we are celebrating our 8th year!
Today is very hard for me not to be able to share our Special Day WITH you, to hold you, to kiss you and to watch you smile when I say I love you. I know you are with me today but of all the days since you have been gone this has been the most challenging. I will keep a smile on my face so as you look down upon me you will see me smiling. We had such a special relationship between us, if I was to cry all...

I went to school with Chris and had some great laughs with him. We were on a commercial assignment together with a couple of others in Economics our senior year. We decided to do a Chip Clip commercial. To get the point across at how essential the Chip Clip was we had to create a very dramatic scene. So what did we do? Any guesses? We had one jeep (Chris's)go up Lion's Back with a bunch of crazy teenagers holding a bag of chips without the Chip Clip. The bag flew out and we lost our chips....
