Not sure what to say?

My sincere sympathy to the Popovich Family. My brothers and I knew Mark from Mt Vernon. Mark was warm and friendly, genuine and sincere. He had a contagious smile, hope, and optimism about him. Every conversation I had with Mark was a pleasant one. I never heard him complain, and he was well-connected to the people around him. One of the things I liked most about Mark is that he was brilliant, an Electrical Engineer (EE), yet very approachable, humble, and down to earth. I thank God for...

To the Popovich Family,

We want to extend our deepest sympathies to your family. We were deeply saddened to hear the news of his passing, and to those who knew Mark, all sense the void in losing a great friend.

Mark was a childhood friend from our early days at Mt Vernon to our high school days. We were always playing sports and hanging out together. One of his deepest passions was working on his cars... he really loved his GTO and Chevelle.

Mark was always so kind and...

Mark will be missed greatly. I will always remember Basketball at the Mt. Vernon elementary school, his soft spoken and warm presence.

Sending my deepest sympathy to the entire Popovich family in the tragic passing of Mark. May your memories and special times together help you all through this sad time and give you strength. I will always remember Mark's amazing "smile" and kindness. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Popovich Family-

I was saddened to hear about Mark from my brother who lives in the area. We grew up together in Mount Vernon and Mark was a classmate and friend of mine. While I haven't maintained contact after I left the area after college, I have fond memories of Mark and his influence on me in the most formidable time in my life. His spirit will continue to live on and I'm grateful to have fond memories of him. Our world lost a wonderful soul and may you be sustained by...

Our Love, thoughts & prayers to Mark's family & Linda. Wish we could be there. Mark was a wonderful person. Our Deepest Sympathy. Love Mike, Joan Demma & family, Colorado

Deepest sympathies to the Popovich family.
I was his Little League Coach. Mark was a special person even then. Coach Abe and I used to call him "Pope". When he became an adult, every now and then "Pope" would stop by the house just to see how "old Coach" was doing. That's the type person he was. A very caring person. RIP Pope.

To the Popovich family. Offering my prayers to your family on your loss of a wonderful Husband, and Father and friend. Mark was a very good classmate and friend to me. A friendship that lasted almost 40 years. The Lord Jesus said in the book of John that he was departing but he would not leave us comfortless. He left us his precious Holy Spirit to comfort us in times like this. God bless,
