Mark always had a way of making everyone feel welcome. Of making us all laugh and feel like whatever moment we were in would never end. I remember one night in 29 Palms, Mark and our friend Levi did an epic performance of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody on stage at the carnival. Our group laughed so hard and the performance stays in my memory, as well as the song itself will never be heard by my ears the same again. What a bright light.

I do NOT mean to sound creepy at all, I'm a complete stanger to your friends and love ones. And my heart goes out to all of you for your loss. I'm praying I have the right person, but I took a trip to California recently and came across a memorial of fallen troops and amongst them was Marks cross memorial type thing. With Thanksgiving approaching it reminds me how blessed and thankful I am to have been able to know and love Mark.
