Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Rabinowitz, and family, Please find comfort in knowing that your son, our friend, "Mark" touched many lives during his time with us. Mark, was a kind, gentle, fun and funny person. He was a 'brilliant' pharmacist. A devoted son, he loved you Mrs. R and worried about you. There wasn't a day that went by that Mark and I didn't speak about you. He looked forward to your phone calls during his work day. Mark was so happy on his birthday...he announced it at least 3 times over the...

Mrs. Rabinowitz,
I am grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing your son. He was a bright shining light at Northwestern Psychiatric Institute. He made my job as a sales representative for Janssen an enjoyable one. I will always be grateful for his kindness and friendship towards me. The memorial service today was wonderful. Thank you for allowing this to take place. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet you today (1/25/02). God bless you. You will be in my prayers.

I was truly sorry to hear of Mark's passing. I am a Pharmaceutical Representative and developed a friendship as well as a business affiliation with Mark. He always made himself accessible to me and I thank you for that Mark. I will really miss our working relationship as well as our social visits. Northwestern Pharmacy will just not be the same without you. I extend my sincere condolences to your family. I am sure you will be sorely missed.

I recently joined the family of Northwestern Institute a few months ago, and my office is next door to the Pharmacy. Mark and I became close friends very quickly. I told Mark many times that I was his second mother, sister, secretary, and most of all, one of his friends. He was almost so kind and respectful to me, and included me in all the activities of the Pharmacy staff. I truly appreciated his kindness and humor. I loved to tease him everyday, and I truly will miss him greatly. I am...

Mark & I developed a close relationship over the last 4 1/2 years. As a pharmaceutical rep, I visited the hospital often for business reasons. However, a surprising thing happened along the way, though...we became very close friends! His dry sense of humor, coupled with my sarcasm, made for lots of laughs and fond memories. That is why I visited so often!

Mark truly enjoyed his environment at work and home immensely. These were places where he felt comfortable and could be his...

I have only known Mark for about two years but during that time we quickly became friends. Mark would call me and ask me to meet him at "the bus stop" which were two chairs that sit outside of the Admissions Office at the Northwestern. It was there that we would discuss what was on our minds and share a laugh or two. It was there that we joked about "the box". Mark and I lovingly referred to his small pharmacy as "the box". I will miss you my friend and the box will never be the same. I...

If I could tell Mark just one more thing it would be thank you for the wonderful times we shared over that half sandwich and chocolate chip cookie from Zakes. I will miss so many things about Mark, but none more than his kindness and wonderful sense of humor.

Some people remind us of others, but Mark was one of a kind and all of my memories of him will forever remind me of his gentle nature and his wonderful smile.

Rest well my friend...be at peace...God and the...

I am one of Northwestern's pharmaceutical representatives, and have known Mark since 1995. When I was a newcomer and knew no one at this hospital, Mark was my first contact. He took me under his wing, "showed me the ropes" and always made me feel welcome. His honesty and generosity made me regard Mark as not only a customer but moreso, a dear friend. I will miss him more than I can say.

I have had the honor and sincere good fortune to have known Mark since my first day at Northwestern, where he and I worked. If one were to be judged by their deeds, Mark would be the winner! He was always kind, always compassionate and always caring about his patients and fellow employees. Mark is greatly missed at Northwestern. May he rest in peace and be kept within God's blessing.
Shalom Mark Shalom........Mort
