Not sure what to say?

I first met Mark when he came to the massage school I was enrolled in to give one of his famous demonstrations of the Feledenkrais Method. I had never seen such a gentle, graceful and effective bodywork modality before. Later, as an employee at the Reese Movement Institute, and as a student at his first training program, I gained a deep appreciation of his profound inner sight, and breadth of wisdom and beingness. He has helped many people attain an expanded vision of what it means to be a...

Our interactions with Mark and the family stood out in our experience of the bar mitzvah class at Congregation Dor Hadash. Mark was gentle, caring and very endearing. Our family sends our deepest empathy to his and wish deep comfort for you all through this time.

I remember first seeing Mark in Amherst 26 summers ago. From that first look, he stood out as a true scholar of Moshe's work. Over the years I have been fortunate to be in his vicinity at many training programs, from coast to coast. I would like to think I have borrowed some of his qualities and knowledge, as I often hear myself saying "I learned this from Mark Reese." I know I am not alone in this. Mark's death is a loss beyond words. His contributions to each of us who have known him,...

With deep gratitude to Mark Reese, my Trainer and exquist guide on my path to awareness I say my good-by. I offer my sympathy to his family and freinds and to our whole community.

Mark was a friend, colleague, superb trainer and practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method. He provided my first Feldenkrais experience at the Omega Institute. That experience propelled me on to become a practioner and train with Mark in his first training.
Mark has left so many of us with life changing lessons, Feldenkrais and other. My heart goes out to his family and all who loved him.

Mark and I were both involved in the theatre world before we studied with Moshe Feldenkrais. We bonded as fellow actors and his kind and sweet disposition was unusual. He was the kind of person you wanted to send a gift to when you saw something he liked - a book for example. He was always calm and a great listener.

Mark did what he did as sincerely, competently and thoroughly as anyone I have ever known,he will be missed, there are very few who could begin to fill his shoes.

To me, Mark Reese embodied passion and creativity. His work changed the lives of many, myself included. I feel honored to have had lessons from such a master.

To a man who changed my life as much as anyone I've ever met,and without whose training I wouldn't be complete.
