Not sure what to say?

Dr Richard was my children´s pediatrician at Metro. I´m not sure what made me think of him today, but I just can´t believe it´s been 20 years. We miss you Dr Richard. And although my children are grown now, you left such a positive impression that you set the bar for every doctor I´ve ever met. (They´ve got big shoes to fill!) I´m sure your family misses you terribly. I know that I do.

It´s been almost 19 years and not a birthday (a day that we shared) goes by that I don´t think of you, Aunt Becky, and my wonderful cousins Hayley, Sam, and Joel. I wish I could have gotten to know you more into adulthood, but you would be proud to know all your kids are fantastic people. I know it´s a few days early, but happy birthday Uncle Mark.

Becky, Joel, Hayley, Samantha & other family: I didn't know Mark well, but what I did know, he was a wonderful person. Always kind, willing to listen & share. When I think of him, I can see his smile so clearly. My heart & prayers go to all of you.

Dear Richard family,

Mark was our pediatrician in Charlotte 8 years ago and made such a difference in how we approached parenting. His laid back style helped us to relax and enjoy being parents instead of stressing. Today, having three children, we still think, "what would Dr. Richard tell us?", when a situation comes up. We hated to see him leave Charlotte and were deeply saddened to hear of his death. He shared a lot of love and good works while he was here. You are in our...

To the Richard Family: So sorry to hear about Mark. I can still see him as a cute little boy with black shiny hair. My heart is sad at the loss of him. My condolences and sympathies. Sally Matthews Mattiello

My sympathy goes out to the family, friends and patients of Dr. Richard. He was my children's doctor and we loved him dearly. We frequently referred to him as "Dr. God". Never have a met a person with such compassion and caring. We love you and miss you. Our prayers are with you Dr. Richard as well as with your family. I only wish I was aware of his passing earlier so that my children and I could have attended the funeral.

Mark was a true mentor to me. His guidance helped me become a better physician and parent. I admire him greatly, and it was a privilege to know him. Although I know he is at peace, he left us too soon.

May the memory of Mark
and all he meant to you
Give you strength and courage
and bring you comfort, too.

With Deepest Sympathy

Many families are blessed, and on knowing yours, it is evident God is truly present. You will be in our prayers.
