Not sure what to say?

Dear Kathy and Family,
It was nice to finally meet you last Saturday, but such a sad occasion. We both spent many years in NAS Bermuda unit with Mark. He was a good worker, a good Chief, and a good friend. He will be missed by a lot of people. Grief can be so hard during the holidays, but our special memories and faith help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one this holiday season.

Your family has played a valuable role in our family's life. Not a childhood memory doesn't include someone from your family. I will never forget the day that we were at a birthday party playing the "telephone game" and Mr Rober had to take me into the kitchen to tell me the sentence noticing that I couldn't hear. It was him who got my parents to check that out which I am grateful for every day! Mr. Rober was a man that I knew I could look up to throughout our life. Your loss is our loss...

2010 NRNAS Bermuda reunion

I am truly sorry to hear of Mark's passing. He was a great friend and mentor. We met in the mid 70's and worked together in the EBU shop at NAS Willow Grove and NAS Bermuda. Mark was always there to put a smile on your face; a true Sailor, Chief and friend to all. Mark will be missed by everyone who knew him.

To the Rober family: I am sorry for your loss. Mark made being part of NRNAS Bermuda like being part of someones family. I am going to miss him at the reunions and gatherings. Fair Wind and Following Seas, Chief. He will be missed greatly.

We are truly sorry to hear of your loss. Mark was a wonderful person. We are glad we got to know him and your family. The time at the cabin won't be the same without him there. He will be missed by all.
Sincerely John, Jeanine, Kendra and Austin Tomcics
