He was incredible in helping my family. He was recommended by dr.magoon, when Dr. Magoon had his heart surgery. Wow all the dr.s listed but they don't have Dr. Magoon s or Dr. Roots experience with serious mental health,or able to make the...

Mark was a friend and colleague. We collaborated on many patients and I appreciated his keen insights and compassion. We also enjoyed playing Tai Chi together especially at the Michigan Cloud Hands events. I will miss him.

Dr. Root made a profound impact on me from his care when I was a young teenager to my adult life. He was gentle, kind, compassionate, and always gave his patients as much time as they needed (if you know, you know). I still think about some of his insights today, two decades later. He was such a bright spot in the world, and the good work he has done lives on in so many people.
