Not sure what to say?

I'm very late signing Mark's Book... I knew when he passed but didn't see this then.
I went to school with Mark from 1st graders through high school - I was lucky to be his lifelong friend. Mark was a great athlete - the fastest & strongest in every sport. Always our quarterback, b.ball.center, anchorman in track, shot putter and protector just by being there... with an unforgettable smile. He made everything fun for all near him.
Miss him always,

I knew Mark in jr. and high school but we became friends when we both worked at Rich Plan, a meat packing company that operated in one of John Morrells buildings. He was a good guy, well liked and very friendly. i wish to send my sympathies to his family and friends

Mark was one of my best friends growing up. He was a good person who will be greatly missed.
My deepest sympathies go out to his family, and all who knew him.

I grew up with mark and the Rump family

Circa 1974 - by Lawrence W.

Mark was my best friend growing up and we lived 4 houses apart on Tuttle St. Until I left Ottumwa to join the US Navy, we were very often together sharing life's experiance. I was deeply saddened when I learned of his passing. He was taken much too soon. My condolances go out to the family at this difficult time.
