Mark Edward Salva

I recently heard about Mark's death, many months after his passing. Mark was a good friend of mine although we lost touch after he moved to Austin several years ago. Mark was such a caring and kind person, always interested in knowing about my family and how I was doing. We worked from home while at IBM together and met many times for lunch and I just loved talking to Mark. I know he is in a better place but he's gone way too soon. I've not met Mark in person but I worked with him for several years. He was always in such good mood and was very patient and caring. He was a cat person which we often joked about since I also have cats, and you could see he loved them in the way he spoke about them.
I am still mourning the loss of this very special person, and I am sure he is in a better place.
I offer these words in hopes that they bring comfort to his family and loved ones as he made an impact on everyone around...
