I was a patient Dr. Schroeder's and just today heard of his passing. Needless to say I am shocked and saddened by this news. I actually looked forward to my medical visits with him...unheard of for me. I appreciated his pleasant demeanor and patience. He will truly be missed. My condolences to the family and friends. My family and I would like to offer condolences to the Schroeder family. After searching for a doctor who would lisetn to me and have a great "bedside manner" I had the pleasure of finding Dr. Schroeder. After meeting him, I immediately referred to him as a friend. He had a caring and gentle way about him. I felt like he listened to me and cared what I had to say about my body. He will be missed. God Bless You Dr. Schroeder. You made a difference and will be missed!

To the Family of Dr. Mark Schroeder:
My first appointment with Dr. Schroeder was in September 2007. He was so thorough and patient and I was happy to have found a doctor who took "time" with me.
On several return visits, Dr. Schroeder was not at his practice and the staff could not give specific information. Some 6 months later, there was a letter posted on the front desk from Dr. Schroeder. He had returned part-time, explained his condition, and thanked everyone...

Christine,
My heart goes out to you and your three boys. Last July, my husband died unexpectedly while running. He was a physician with Richmond Nephrology. He left three girls, now ages 23, 21 and 18. I know how numb you must feel. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
