Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. It was a pleasure to talk to Mark. He went above and beyond with the work that I sent him. He is awesome. God bless you and your family.

I offer my sincerest sympathies to the entire Shrout family. I was blessed to work with Mark back in the 90's as part of the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation. May GOD bless you all in this most difficult time.

Beth, we were so shocked and saddened when we heard of Mark's passing. Our prayers are with you during this difficult time, and we will always remember Mark's love and kindness. Mike, Mary, and Laura Higgins

Several years ago I came to know Mark as an honorable, humble man. Shortly thereafter, I grew to know him as a trusted friend and brother in Christ. I will miss his sarcastic wit and wry smile, and long for that incredible day when I'll get to be in fellowship with him once again. Peace be to you, Beth, and know that Debbie and I love you.

Mark was a true gentleman and always had a kind word to say. I always felt that he accepted me as I was and by doing so, intentionally extended the love of Christ to me and others. I will remember as a great compliment, that people in choir would comment that they saw me sitting in a certain place with another woman, only to figure out that it was Mark with Beth and not me! I will miss the smile and wit of this confident yet humble man.

I was blessed to know Mark for the past few years at Olive Baptist Church. There are people that you meet in life that are difficult to talk with. Mark was not one of these. He was an instant friend upon whom just meeting you would feel like you had known him for years. He gave much more in life to others than he took in return. He will be greatly missed and lives have been changed for the better just for knowing him. Rest in peace my brother in Christ

Mark was a fine man, I considered him not just a customer but my friend...May the Lord bless you and comfort you. Sue and I will be praying for you. Steve and Sue Murphy

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of heartache. Beth, if it gives you comfort, know that Mark always spoke of you with a smile on his face, and a look of deep devotional love. He and I worked on cases over the past several years, and I often model my work ethics after his, as if he said it, "it was true". I sent him the work I could not get to, because I knew if I passed his name on, it would be done right. He was the type of person who called to see how you were, if time...
