Not sure what to say?

Linda know that you are loved and thought of often. I am so sorry that health prevented me from being with you.

To the Smith Family:
And to Cynthia Specifically... I am terribly sorry for your loss. I know that he was such a huge part of your lives and that he meant so much to you. Please know that I will keep you and your loved ones in my prayers during this time of mourning over such an important person in your hearts.

Mark honoring his 91 year old high school

I feel blessed to have known Mark, though briefly, and to have been able to connect him with his old high school teacher, my mother, Dr. Pauline King Long, who had meant so much to him, as he had meant so much to her. His quiet kindness touched us all, and he will be missed greatly. A truly great soul.

I worked at Adtran with Mark from 1994 to 2003. Never have I worked with such a truly intelligent and exceptional person who exemplified the true meaning of the "Golden Rule". He will be greatly missed. My sincerest condolences to the Smith family. Mark will always be in my prayers.

I worked at Universal Data Systems from 1980 thru 1989. Mark Smith was a kind and decent man. My condolences to his family. I am so very sorry.

Mark Smith was a true pioneer, a benevolent entrepreneur, and humanitarian. I was heartened by his generosity in supporting Oakwood College. His legacy, his learning, his leadership, will remain in the annals of engineering and space industries. Our prayers are with his family.

I knew Mark only as a Techman. He and I had several conversations about Tech. I was always glad to see Mark and he will be missed by many.
