Mark Sperry

Mark Sperry, 91, a lifelong resident of Geauga County, Ohio, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II who served as a 2nd Lieutenant in Europe and Africa commanding a Naval Liberty Ship, and an Attorney at Law for 60 years at Newton B. Chapman & Mark Sperry, Chardon Village, Ohio, until his retirement in 1990, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 28, 2000. Memorial services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 31, 2000, 11 a.m., at Pilgrim Christian Church, 202 South Hambden Street (southeast corner of Chardon Square), Chardon Village, officiated by Pastor Robert D. Penrod. Visitation will follow at the church. Burial will be at Chardon Municipal Cemetery, Chardon Village. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Geauga Park District, 9160 Robinson Road, Chardon, OH 44024, or send flowers to a loved one in his memory.
