As Gregg's younger sister, I have many happy memories with you in high school: Iron Maiden, Doyle Fourth of July bashes, Brophy Graduation, etc. But alas, I am now a wife and mother and losing track of those simpler times...but hearing of your death reminds to celebrate those memories again and leave you with an Irish proverb:

Always remember to forget the things that made you sad.
But never forget to remember the things that made you glad.

Mark was the first person I met entering high school, an extremely intelligent salty-tongued character who helped introduce me to sarcasm and loud music. We had a lot of fun together back then and didn't understand for years how much we really had in common beneath the more superficial things we found amusing about each other. In the years after school, he'd drift in and out of contact, but I always knew he'd get...
