Not sure what to say?

Shocked and saddened to hear of your loss. I just found out about it on Wednesday, nearly 11 months after he passed, when talking to a longtime friend I hadn't seen since 1992, when I worked at the Arizona Daily Star, hired by none other than Mark Stewart. The next day, ironically and coincidentally, I met Scott Stewart, Mark's brother, heading to the airport in Las Vegas (what were the odds of that?). Needless to say, I have a heavy heart right now for the Stewarts.

Our dear Phyllis, we are so sorry to hear of your loss. Condolences to you and Jackson.

Stu and I send our love to all of Mark's family. We grieve with you, and wish you comfort in the memories of his smile and great spirit. We hold you in our hearts, now and always.

Mark, I love you and will miss you. I relished my visits to Tucson
in February with you and Phyliss. We shared the same "sick" sense of humor, and the joy of writing.
You were and still are my hero. Spot

Condolences to the Stewart families and prayers to my golf friend. May he rest in peace.

Almost every memory I have of Mark involves humor. Mark had the rare ability to find humor in situations where others could not He was a great and fun brother.

I had the pleasure of working with Mark for several years at the VA, and I am deeply saddened by his passing. He was a good man and will be missed dearly.

Hearing about your loss has deeply sadden me. I hope the promise at Psalm 9:9 and 10 comforts your heart.
