Mark and I were high school classmates at Westport. We did the usual sorts of things highschoolers do, including some questionable driving of a '67 or '68 silver Pontiac GTO. (Let's say the rear tires wore out kinda quickly.) I remember Mark as a warm, funny, friendly and generous person, and I have thought about him many times over the last 35+ years. My sincere condolences to the Strassel family.

I am Mark's cousin but didn't know him well, having only seen him a few times over the years as they lived in another state, but regardless, I remember him well, particularly from when we were children. My condolences go out to Jane, Mark's wife, and to our cousin Virginia Ann and her mother, Elizabeth as they were very close. I know they will miss him.
