Dear Mrs. Swinburne,

Please accept my sincere condolences. I didn't have the pleasure of working with Mark directly, but he was one of the nicest people I've ever met. He was greatly admired and respected by all of us in MCM, and we, too, shall miss his gentle presence immensely.

I hope you and your sons will find comfort in the many words of admiration and love that are bound to be expressed by all who knew Mark, for a truly good man has left the earth all too soon....

Words can't express how deeply sorry we were to learn of Mark's passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I will always remain so grateful for the friendship and support you offered us when we first moved to Washington back in 1993. Although I haven't seen you for a while, I think of you often.
