I had no idea Mark had passed on until Dave Kornatowski came and told me at my office today. How very shocked and sad I was to hear this news. I will keep you all in my prayers, I just wanted you to know I am thinking of you and your family. If you need anything please feel free to contact me.

Skip, My condolences on your brother's passing. I was just recently shocked by the news when Mark Marsich informed me about Mark's passing. We found out too late to visit and pay proper respects, Mark also sends his condolences. Many good times at the gym with you two brothers. I will keep both of you in my prayers. Jeff

Dear Patty, Lisa and family, I am so sorry that we have all lost Mark. He was a brother to me and I will always miss him. I will for the rest of my life consider it an honor to say that Mark Szalek was my dear friend. I know he is with Jesus now and resting in peace. Please take care of each other. Words cannot describe how sad I am to know that Mark is no longer among us, but I take comfort knowing he lives on in the many good deeds he did while he was here. Not only was he a hero to MANY dogs, he was someone who would give you the shirt off his back if he felt you needed it. We should all be as giving and helpful as he was. Mark was a great friend to many and his family should be proud of him. You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you struggle to deal with this tremendous loss. ...

Lisa, I am so saddened by your loss. I was devistated when you told me. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. It is so sad to recieve news like this of such a young man being taken from us so early in life. Our thoughts and prayers are with all family and friends.
