Professor Mark Philip Thompson

Served with Mark back in '68 Vietnam, we often nicknamed him "Young Buck". He was honourably discharged after burning a enemy village now. He saved me from being killed.

He told me a story about how he was not meant to be here and was drafted, and that he was actually a professor. He was always full of jokes and funny stories!

I often look back with great affection to my first year at Keele University when I was fortunate enough to meet Young Mark and regard him as my friend.
