Not sure what to say?

I'm so surprised to hear of Dr. Travis's passing , he did my orthognathic surgery in 1990 that forever changed my life . Searching for him in order to do my daughter's wisdom teeth , I stumbled upon his obituary. Dr, Travis was kind and gentle and explained this complex surgery to me as a scared 20 year old ..very good bedside manner . My sympathies go out to his family .

I was a patient of Dr. Travis in 1993 and his surgery corrected my bite and changed my life. I have since taken a position with a non-profit foundation for a state dental association. Our programs give patients free dental care and change lives. I often share my own story and talk about Dr. Travis with my volunteer dentists. He was a true inspiration.

I knew Mark as a resident and practicing Orall-Maxillofacial surgeon . He. Was the consumate professional and will be sadly missed by all in the community in general and his fellow care-givers in particular.
Ann, our hearts go out to you and your family. God bless you.

I am so, so, sorry
I just heard about Mark
He was one of my heroes and just a wonderful person
He is what made the OMFS program at Wash U/ Barnes work
He set the bar for work ethic and what is best for the patient attitude for the rest of us
I will get in touch with you in the near future but just want you and your family to know our thoughts and prayers are with you

Dr. Travis was an amazing oral surgeon to work for, very talented. I worked for him in the 80's, started my dental career at N.W.O.S practice. I am still in the dental field and our patients that we refer to his practice have nothing but wonderful words about him, what a world class oral surgeon.

He will be truly missed by many, his family is in our thoughts and prayers as they go through a very difficult time.

May God bless his family, giving them strength and courage.

Mark and Ann were our first St. Louis friends...we meet the first day of dental school...he was upbeat and friendly then and he never changed, even through that final hard year....
I recognize the obituary photo...it was taken last year at a party our office had at the cardinals game...same upbeat smile!

Really very sad to learn of Mark's passing. I remember very fondly our golf trips with Dave Andersen and the whole crew. Mark and I were often paired together. Fortunate for me because he always carried the weight and we often won. My condolenses to all of the family.

May you rest in peace. I enjoyed working with you and for you for several years.
You will be missed by everyone you ever came in contact with.

Meet Mark over 30 years ago when we both started practicing in North County. Got to know him over the years both profesionaly and personally. He was a great surgeon but a better person. He will be truly missed.
