I met ENS! Mark True at the time while stationed on CGC MIDGETT in 1987. During the short time I knew him I could tell that he was man of integrity & always made others feel good when around him. Mark was also an outstanding basketball player as I played with him on many occasions. I retired from USCG a after 25 years of service. My deepest condolence to the True family❤

To all of us who have had the pleasure and honor to know Mark True, aren't we beyond blessed!!! Think of his always welcoming smile, his fun sense of humor and mischievous grin, his eye to eye contact that assured you he was listening, his words that were few and to the point to let you know that he cared. His hugs that were given freely with two arms wrapped around you. These are just a few of the many wonderful qualities that Mark expressed so naturally, so generously, so sincerely!!! These are qualities that Mark showed in one form or another to countless persons. Mark set the bar high as a shining example of a son, brother, husband, father, friend! He showed how to be male and a real man at the same time, and even more importantly, he was simply an exemplary human being. Our hearts are heavier today, but our hearts are full of love that we have received, because of knowing and loving Mark. Our memories cannot be taken away. As I said, we are beyond blessed. Much love to all! Suzy and all of Aunt Jane's family ❤

My condolences to Laureen, Keegan, Braeden and Kylene. I remember when you first moved into the neighborhood and it was one of the best things that ever happened to that section of town. I was honored to be living by Mark, a man of dignity, integrity and patriotism. I remember when he told me he was passing up the promotion to Captain. He didn't want to relocate because his family was happy where they were. I respected him so much for that. Rest in Peace Commander!
