Like Sally, I also met Mark while at NAHBRC and kept in touch over the years. Unfortunately, notice of his passing just reached me. He was an extremely hard-working and nice human being. His passing is a huge blow and a giant hole now exists here in the world.

I met Mark at the NAHBRC, and we were friends ever since. He was a good friend and did so many nice things for me and my family. I loved walking around the neighborhood and bumping into him. I will miss his sense of humor and love of dogs. My deepest sympathies.

Mark volunteered at the Anne Arundel County SPCA animal shelter and he was always a wonderful person to cross paths with, as we all walked the dogs on the shelter grounds. He had great affection and compassion for the homeless animals and contributed items to enhance the shelter grounds. I send my deepest sympathy.
