Not sure what to say?

Chris,
Don't know if you will remember me. You spent a week at the townhouse with your Dad while I was away. I use to come to some your your practices with your Dad. I just found out about Mark's passing. I am very sorry. Your Dad was a great person someone you can smile about when you think about him. I wish I would have known so I could have come to the service.
I hope you are doing well and know he was so very proud of you!

Chris,
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I have such wonderful memmories of the things we did together when you were younger. Swimming at Granny Jeans, bike riding, playground patrol, skating,Power Rangers, Sony Play Station, and so much more. I've never stopped praying or thinking about you, and hope you are well and happy. Please know you've always been loved, and I would love to hear from you.

Work...

i only knew mark in the early seventies, when i was in high school in golden valley and mark was in college. i was crazy about his 5 sisters and his folks. i was often at their home. i met mark when he was home visiting from cornell. he took the time to coach me on putting together a teacher evaluation at my high school. i was so impressed...and have thought of it often over the years. he had that kind of impact. it is so sad to hear of his dying so young. but he certainly touched many...

Mark,

It grieves me deeply that you are no longer with us. The world has lost an amazing, delightful, inspiring and extraordinarily kind human being. You were clearly the most interesting person I have ever met ... and special in your interesting-ness. The many friends you made along the way will remember you with deep fondness, respect for your indomitable spirit and love in our hearts.

We were fortunate to have been able to know Mark and to share in the wonderful, quirky person that he was. We spent more than one evening philosophizing, sharing dreams and war stories in the hot tub on the roof of the Bluffs. Mark had a love for the game of life and played it well. We will miss his indomitable spirit and warmth. God speed, Mark.

I teamed up with Mark the first day of incorporation of Entropy Solutions, Inc. As a result, I spent more close quarters time with him than any person in the last 2 1/3 years. He was a true visionary and genius. I learned from him every day and he gave me daily recognition as a mentor. We had a great relationship. The office is too quiet without him. Mark's favorite quote in the face of adversity was one of Admiral Bull Halsey. "A sinking at sea can spoil an entire afternoon". We have had...

Chris and Anders, I've never met you, haven't seen your dad since he graduated from Cornell in 1969. We were on the swim team together. He was a character and a friend, and the team was better because he was on it - not just because of his swimming abilities. Wally was a competitor, but he was also fun and believed in having a good time. Coach Miller, nine swimmers and two divers, we worked hard and played hard, and became kind of like family. In 2009, if there's a 40 year team reunion, the...

Mark was a mentor and friend to me, truly a singular person in all regards, and a gentleman in the finest tradition of this Twin Cities community. He will be greatly missed by the business and healthcare community.

Mark was a mixed bag, but I always liked him.
I will miss his endless orders of Benji's corned beef (which he LOVED) from a silly little deli down in Milwaukee.
