Not sure what to say?

I work as a substitute at Hillsborough High School. I hadn't known Mark very long before my van broke down and was in the shop for over a month. Mark was kind enough to pick me up in the morning and home in the afternoon. We had countless interesting discussions on those rides and found we had many interests in common. We also became very good friends. I was shocked and deeply saddened by his passing. I will never forget him. George Stadtmueller

Dear Pat, Stu, and Katie, Although it has been many years since we have seen each other, I have always remembered you with loving thoughts. When I read of Mark´s passing I was deeply saddened to think how devastated you must be by his loss. The comments of others indicate how very much he meant to so many. May love and fond memories surround you and comfort you. Valerie Bojarski

Mr. Wisse was HHS's GSA advisor during my time there, and I hope he knew how safe he made myself and the other LGBTQ kids feel. Being my authentic self in high school was hard, but he made us all feel just a little bit more secure knowing that we had an adult in our corner who would stick up for us. I think he genuinely saved lives.

I´ll miss our conversations & his encyclopedic knowledge of music. Such a great guy. RIP Mark

Mark and I both worked at Hillsborough High School. Although our paths did not often cross, when they did I was impressed by his gentleness and kindness. I am so sorry to lose such a young, talented and inspirational young educator! May he rest in peace!

My brother . The one I always counted on being there no matter what . Warms my heart to hear all who loved him

I am lucky to have known Mark. His smile was a window to his genuine unique soul and kind heart. Smart and humble. Patient and sweet. He made the earth a better place. Sending my love to his family and friends during this sad time.

Stu, Pat and Katie, Our hearts and thoughts go out to you. With love and Peace, and Jeremy
