Not sure what to say?

I was a patient of Dr Zigoris while attending Ohio State in the early 60's. After he graduated I rented a truck and moved his furniture to Louisville where he had taken a position at UL. I stayed with him and his family for a few nights and then headed out on a country-wide hitchhiking adventure. I especially remember when he let me out of the car alongside Interstate 71 and performed a thorough exam of my gums while traffic was whizzing by. He was one of the kindest, interesting and...

Dr. Zigoris was always so very kind. When he told me he was leaving his practice I just about cried. I had just lost my Mom (2015). I just suddenly thought of him tonight and looked him up. Bless all his kindnesses.

I can’t believe it has been a year since Mark has been gone. I still think of him often and feel as though he’s traveling and I’ll see him soon. I hope you’re well Irene and the rest of the family too. RIP dear Mark, we all miss your friendly smile. Toni

I was a patient of Dr. Zigoris, and I am saddened that I will no longer get to see him. We talked music, blues specifically, and we shared many smiles and laughs together during my visits. Most people don't like going to the dentist or their periodontist. Not me, I looked forward to each and every visit with him. I will miss him deeply. My condolences to his friends and family

I knew Dean Zigoris while in Speed School at U of L and would like to express my condolences for the lost of his father. Lost my dad 10 years ago and not a day goes by. All my best.

Condolences to Irene and family. I've known Mark for 25 years as a patient and friend; he was truly one of a kind. Half of my appointment time was talking about food. He will be missed.

Dr. Zigoris helped so many people in so many ways. He may have thought that serving as president of our homeowners association is no big deal, but finding someone to fill his very big shoes may well be impossible.

He was the most wonderful man, super sweet man..I will miss him deeply...prayers for the family...R.i.p

I am very saddened to heart of Mark's death. He was truly a renaissance man doing good works professionally, and as a volunteer in the community. He was a scholar who read philosophy widely, enjoyed all of the arts and traveled extensively all over the world. He was devoted to his large family, particularly his wife Irene. He will be missed by the many friends he made with his kind engaging manner as well as the many colleagues who respect his professional skills.
