Not sure what to say?

Dear Zoback Family,

I just googled Mark and was very saddened to hear about his passing.
I was a long-time friend of his. We grew up together in Brooklyn. We attended school together for as long as I can remember. I was so proud of him when he was elected a class officer at Tilden. We grew up three blocks from each other.

Mark always stood out from the rest of our friends. He was a true mench.

Again my heartfelt sympathies.

To the Zoback family: I just heard about Mark's passing from a friend from the Tilden H.S. days, and was so saddened. I remember Mark playing Dracula, as I was one of three "Dracula's brides." It was so much fun, and I have only good memories of Mark as kind, smart and overall just a great guy. Wishing you peace and comfort. I will pass the word to anyone I may know from those days as well.

Zo and i were brothers...we were kindred spirits....All through school, all through the neighborhood, all through Brooklyn College, the fencing team, Hale house......So so much.....I am so sorry...I did not know....We hadnt talked in a few years but when we did it was like we were never apart....The memories are jsut flashing...

I want to express my deepest sympathy for you and your family. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I will never forget seeing Mr. Zoback at all of our different games, performances, and events while we were growing up. I'll never forget how proud he always was of you and the way in which he was so encouraging of all of us. He was a man full of love who always had a smile on his face. I regret not being able to make it home for the services, but I wish you strength...

I was deeply saddened by the news of your loss. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. We were truly blessed to have known and had Mark in our lives. He will always be remembered as a kind gentle soul. Mark was always so kind and compassionate with Austin. I will always remember watching Mark interact with Austin in his office. Mark will be missed dearly!

Dear Ronni,
My deepest sympathy upon Mark's passing. He was a wonderful, kind, funny man. I always enjoyed speaking with Mark and treasure three days he and I spent at a conference sponsored by the Graustein Foundation. I had just started working in Pomfret and hadn't seen Mark since the old NARES days. We spent those three days catching up and Mark sharing valuable advice and information as I embarked upon my career as a special education administrator. He was truly a wonderful...
